About the Event

Take your kitchen back and bring back the joy of preparing nourishing meals to your home again.

Sacred Body has joined with Mary-Lou from Being Inspired to present the first of this fabulous series of cooking workshops to bring you a relaxed and casual experience and explore our connection with food.

Presented by Linda Goggan from Sacred Body and Mary-Lou Reed from Being Inspired.

Linda is a qualified remedial massage therapist and nutritional advisor and loves supporting people to understand their body and what goes on not only in the physical aspect but also the energy that is moving it. Linda will discuss nutritional factors about the foods we are preparing during the workshop and how our connection to these elements support vital living.

Mary-Lou is a qualified counsellor and your earthy-food-loving home cook. Mary-Lou has spent decades exploring the endless ways to transform the most simple foundational meals many of us grew up with into the most scrumptious delights with just a few simple tweaks. Mary-Lou has a deep connection with food and its ceremonious preparation which is nothing short of divine alchemy.

Together they bring their years of experience of meal prep on a money and time budget and the exploration of our relationship with food. Unpacking why we have, as a society, let go of our rituals and ceremony around food and the current disfunction with its consumption. All while showing you how easy it really can be to enjoy simple nutritious meals and snacks.

This workshop will aim to cover:

- Kitchen staple ingredients for every pantry

- Bringing a fresh twist on simple foundational meals and snacks

- Understanding the nutritional qualities of the meals being prepared

- Exploring our connection/relationship with food and its preparation

- Take home recipes and shopping list for easy meal prep

- Having fun and tasting great food along the way

Tickets for this are limited due to location capacity so get in quick!

Please note that this particular work shop does not cater to vegan or vegetarian participants, stay tuned for future events.
