While is does not cure or change the course of the disease it may assist with spasticity, pain, fatigue, stress, anxiety and depression. There are many types of massage that can be supportive but the most commonly used are relaxation and/ or remedial massage. Energy healing therapies such as Esoteric Healing may also be helpful in that it encourages a deeply relaxed state which is supportive for stress relief.
